AC went, had to change thermostat ~$150
Pergo flooring got flooded ~$XXXXXXXX

Can my life get any better!

    One day at a time. Someone on your last post mentioned drying out the laminate boards for awhile. They may be able to be reused! That would be quite a savings.

    Another idea. Have you checked about making a claim with your homeowners insurance? My parents had a hose break to their washer and it created quite the flood at their home...insurance covered it.

    Yes, I once had a broken pipe and got insurance coverage to redo my wood floors. Check it out.

    Insurance won't cover since it was ground water.
